Barbara M.  Norris (Artistic Director)  Barbara received her Master's Degree in Theatre in 2004 (Directing "Concentration, with Distinction") from CSU Sacramento and recently directed Solano Repertory Theatre Company's critically acclaimed production of "CATS" by Andrew Lloyd Webber at the Fairfield Center for Creative Arts. Her undergraduate studies included work at the University of California at Berkeley and at UC Davis. She teaches Acting Diversity in American Theatre, and Directing for Solano College Theatre, and Multicultural Theatre, Appreciation of Theatre, and Acting at Los Medanos College. Her numerous acting credits include performances in "Richard III", "Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?",  "Always, Patsy Cline", "Dancing at Lughnasa",  "The Heiress",  "Parallel Lives", "Love Letters", "The Little Foxes", "Steel Magnolias", and "The Dining Room".  She has received many ARTY awards for both acting and directing and also has been recognized for her collaborations with new playwrights. Under her leadership, Solano Repertory Theatre Company has received numerous local and regional awards and nominations (Sacramento Area Regional Theatre Alliance - Daily Republic ARTY Awards - Vacaville Reporter Star Awards).  Barbara is also co-founder of this multi-award-winning theatre group.

Liz Towne-Andrews (President of the Board of Directors Solano Repertory Company)  Liz has had over 20 years of dance training and has been performing and choreographing for over 25 years. She is excited to be a part of Solano Repertory Theatre Company! A few of her many choreography credits include, "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" (SCT), "Oklahoma!" (FCT), "Gypsy" (VMT), "Honk!" (SCT), "The Most Happy Fella" (FCT), "Hello Dolly!" (FCT), "Brigadoon" (FCT), "Grease" (SCT), "Oliver!" (SCT)…and much more! Some of her favorite performance credits include, Sheila in "A Chorus Line" (DVC), Z’s Favorite in "The Will Rogers Follies" (CCMT), Bonnie in "Anything Goes" (SCT & VMT), Anytime Annie in "42nd Street" (SCT), Claudine in "Can-Can" (SCT), Babette in Disney’s "Beauty and the Beast" (SCT), and shared the role of the Beggar Woman in "Sweeney Todd" (SCT). Liz was thrilled to win an ARTY Award for her first non-musical role as Dotty/Mrs. Clackett in "Noises Off!" with SCT. Liz is also an accomplished director having directed such shows as "Dracula: The Musical?" (FCT), and along with Patty Penrod, SRTC's 1st Annual fundraiser "Broadway's Best of Times."

Michel Ehmke (Vice-President) is most pleased to find himself serving with such a talented group as SRTC's Board of Directors.  Michel is a veteran actor on stage, and most recently portrayed Manolo Costazuela in SRTC's production of "The Odd Couple - Female Version" which was directed by SRTC's own Jennifer Ray, and also starred Shannon Veon Kase.

SYLVIA GREGORY (Managing Director, Solano Repertory Company) For the last 8 years Sylvia has been Solano Rep’s in-house costume designer, and recently, set designer.  She has been designing costumes for last 25 years and is a multiple ARTY and ELLY award recipient.  Previously, she worked in the London theatre with the likes of Carole Churchill and in movies on both sides of the pond.  She has a husband and 2 children and works for Dreamcatchers in Fairfield helping people with disabilities find employment.

Jennifer Ray (Treasurer) has an eclectic resume. She holds a BA in English, a teaching degree in Mathematics, and an MFA in Acting. She currently lives in Vacaville, earning her living as a high school Trigonometry and Theatre Arts teacher – a highly logical combination! Jennifer is an ARTY nominated actor and director, as well as a lighting and set designer ARTY winner. Some of her favorite roles within the last decade have been Louise in "Always, Patsy Cline", Miss Maudie in "To Kill a Mockingbird", Mrs. Webb in "Our Town", and performing in "The Vagina Monologues". She wrote and performed in the critically acclaimed “Vacaville, Our Story”, a black-tie millennium local history celebration, and co-wrote (with Barbara Norris) and performed in an evening of monologues for NorthBay Hospice based upon first person cancer survivor interviews. She also takes great pride in having directed SRTC’s 2006 Elly nominated "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" and most recently directed Solano Rep's critically acclaimed, and ARTY nominated production of "The Odd Couple - Female Version."

Paula Clanton (Secretary) is thrilled to be a member of Solano Repertory Theatre Company’s Board of Directors.  After many years watching her family perform in local theatre Paula found her niche behind the scenes as a stage manager for Solano Youth Theatre and Davis Musical Theatre Company’s Youth Theatre Program (DMTC-YTP). She made her directorial debut for DMTC-YTP with “Starmites” in 2009. As well as being secretary for SRTC Paula stage managed for their production of “The Odd Couple” (female version), and co-produced "The Foreigner."

Shannon Veon Kase (Board Member) is a native of Solano County even though her current home is in the East Bay. She is a graduate of Solano College Actor Training Program (ATP). Shannon has worked in the Bay Area as an actor for the past 10 years, and recently picked up the directors hat. SRTC's production of "Into the Woods" was Shannon's 5th show as a director. Other credits include: "Someone Who Will Watch Over Me" - Missouri Street Theater, "Hair" - SRTC, "Famous Michael" - SRTC for which Shannon won an ARTY Award for "Best New Original Play", and "Butterflies Are Free" - Mira Theater Company, which was 2009's ARTY Award winner for "Best Director of a Comedy".

Patty Penrod (Board Member) is an accomplished award-winning actress. She was last seen as The Witch in "Into the Woods" with Solano Repertory Theatre Company, and as Magenta in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" with the Masquers. Some favorite roles include Muzzy in CCCT’s production of "Thoroughly Modern Millie", Mrs. Lovett in "Sweeney Todd", and Smitty in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying", both with Solano College Theatre. Patty also enjoys singing cabaret-style and has performed most recently in "Broadway's Best of Times" with SRTC, "Is Love a Four Letter Word?" and "Dangerous Blues", both at the Octavia Lounge in San Francisco.  Patty has won two Lyric Awards from Vallejo Music Theatre (VMT), has been nominated for numerous awards around the Bay Area and has won 2 best actress ARTY Awards and an ELLY award from the Sacramento Area Regional Theater Association. A Senior Escrow Officer with Old Republic Title Company by day, Patty has also been a part time vocal coach, specializing in vocal technique for children.
